Traditional family-run and farmer-owned country pub in the Essex countryside with 4 beautiful rooms.

Under new ownership since March 2025. Nestled among the Crouch Valley vineyards in Stow Maries, near Maldon in Essex.

Wonderful walks and countryside in every direction. We are farmers in the village and we serve our own beef and lamb. We also carefully source our other meat from the local area, along with local and seasonal ingredients.

Sunday breakfast is for our B&B guests only

We do not serve food after 1800 on Sunday.
